Curriculum
In Mater Amabilis, we run the Junior and Senior Secondary School Programmes as specified by the Anambra State Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Onitsha Archdiocesan Education Office. We expose our students to a wide range of subjects handled by professional teachers and taught in line with the syllabus of the National Examination Council (NECO) and West African Examination Council (WAEC).
Junior Secondary Curriculum.
- The Junior Secondary Curriculum (Basic 7 to 9) covers the following subjects:

- The Senior Secondary Curriculum covers the following.
Apart from the usual termly assessment, we prepare our students for the following external exams:
1. Basic Education Certificate Examination (Junior WAEC Exam). This is taken at the end of the Basic 9 (JSS3)
2. West African Senior School Certificate Examination by WAEC. This is taken at the end of the Senior Secondary Education (SS3)
3. National Senior School Certificate Examination by NECO. This is taken at the end of the Senior Secondary Education (SS3)
4. The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination by JAMB. This is taken at the end of the Senior Secondary Education (SS3)
5. Other Exams include the following: GCE, TOEFL, IELTS
